Agreement

By using Lightpiece, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The service

Lightpiece is a free community for sharing perspectives and testimonies rooted in the teaching of the Bible. We do not use likes or public view counts as impact metrics.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Accounts

You must sign in with a supported provider (Google on iOS and Android; Sign in with Apple on iOS) to contribute. You are responsible for activity on your account.

Provide accurate profile information. Do not impersonate others or create accounts to evade moderation.

Community rules

You agree not to post or use the app to:

• Share spam, promotions, or content that leads people astray from the mission described in About.
• Share content about other gods or practices outside the Bible or Jesus, or treat questions/testimonies as a general comment section.
• Share raw teaching that is not in the form of a testimony or perspective as described in About.
• Post jokes about Jesus or entertainment that conflicts with community norms.
• Harass others, break the law, or attempt to disrupt or scrape the service.

Moderation

Members may flag content. Moderators and admins may dismiss reports, delete content, leave advice for authors, or suspend accounts.

We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms or harm the community, with or without prior notice.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content in the app and related share pages so the community can use the service.

You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload, including media.

Donations

Donations are voluntary and help cover running costs. Payments are processed by Stripe. Unless required by law, donations are not refundable once completed.

Disclaimer

Lightpiece provides a community space, not professional counseling, medical, legal, or pastoral advice. Content from members reflects their experiences. Seek qualified help when you need it, and find a physical church for discipleship as suggested in About.

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or reliance on member content.
